HÖRMANN Warnsysteme GmbH acquires SAFUS GmbH

HÖRMANN Warnsysteme GmbH, part of the HÖRMANN Group, has acquired 100 percent of the shares in SAFUS GmbH, based in Pfarrkirchen. With this merger, two established German providers of warning and alerting systems are joining forces and significantly expanding their position in the German market.

Founded in 2017, SAFUS has become a sought-after provider of electronic and mobile sirens as well as the control-centre software SiMaSo. The company implemented numerous projects for municipalities, fire services, public authorities and industry, in particular within the national siren funding programme. SAFUS brings more than 50 employees and effective supra-regional teams

Together, the new set-up covers the entire warning chain, from planning, production and installation through to integration and maintenance. The nationwide branch network of HÖRMANN Warnsysteme and the supra-regional teams and installed base of SAFUS combine into a powerful service and project network that supports federal, state and municipal authorities in the nationwide expansion of public warning.

HÖRMANN Warnsysteme GmbH is acquiring SAFUS GmbH.

“By joining forces we bring two great companies and teams together and strengthen our position in the German market for the long term. I am very much looking forward to working with Thomas and his entire team,” says Anna Hörmann, Managing Director of HÖRMANN Warnsysteme GmbH.

“With HÖRMANN Warnsysteme we want to combine our strengths. Both companies bring valuable experience, know-how and strengths of their own. I see this as an opportunity to preserve what works, learn from each other and create something new together. Trust was an essential basis of this decision for me from the very start,” adds Thomas Aicher, Managing Director of SAFUS GmbH.

In the long term, both companies intend to operate in the market under a single brand. For SAFUS customers, the familiar points of contact and services will remain unchanged.
